Annual AD/PD conference to feature several EPND partners

The 2022 AD/PD International Conference on Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease and related neurological disorders will be held on March 15-20 in Barcelona, Spain, and online. With a focus on advances in science and therapy, the conference will welcome a multidisciplinary mix of delegates to showcase and discuss the most recent research, clinical developments and treatments.

We are delighted to announce that several EPND partners will be speaking about their recent work on biomarkers at the conference, including:

  • Prof. Pieter-Jelle Visser (EPND co-Coordinator) - "Proteomic correlates of amyloid-beta and Tau in CSF: a monozygotic twin study"
  • Prof. Giovanni Frisoni (co-Lead of EPND WP5: Case studies) - "The probabilistic amyloid cascade hypothesis in Alzheimer's disease"
  • Prof. Charlotte Teunissen (co-Lead of EPND WP3: SOP development) - "Biomarkers: the reality check"
