The 2023 AD/PD conference took place in Gothenburg (Sweden), between 28 March - 1 April. A leading international conference on Alzheimer's, Parkinson's disease and related neurological disorders, AD/PD convened experts to share and discuss recent advances in clinical trials, diagnostics and therapies. In total, over 4,000 delegates from 60 countries attended the conference, with presentations of over 2,000 oral or poster abstracts.

An ePoster entitled "The European Platform for Neurodegenerative Diseases" was presented at AD/PD by EPND co-Coordinator, Pieter-Jelle Visser (University of Maastricht). Co-authored by EPND leads Niranjan Bose (Gates Ventures), Anthony Brookes (University of Leicester) and Phil Scordis (UCB Pharma), the ePoster explains how EPND aims to accelerate large-scale biomarker research by building a collaborative platform for sample and data sharing, highlighting recent milestones including the Cohort Catalogue.
